RB Ranks Week 6 (updated Saturday)

Welcome to the Week 6 Running Back Rankings!

The RB position is in much better shape the than the passing positions.  That’s the good thing about RBs, I suppose.  We have a pretty good feel for where the production is coming from on most weeks.  We may not like it a lot of the time, but we have some comfort level.  It’s all about opportunity.

The bye losses are significant but not acute.  Most of what’s lost can be replaced save for maybe Marlon Mack, but that dude needed a week off anyways.  He’s banged up.

As always, these are my initial rankings.  I will collect all the pertinent information that comes out over the next 48 or so hours and apply it all to the final rankings that get posted on Saturday.  I strongly suggest you use those rankings for your Sunday lineup choices.

For DFS this week, I’m on Kamara and Zeke, but I’m also drawn to potential cost-saver Chase Edmonds if David Johnson is out.  Chris Carson at 6K feels cash viable and for sure is worth a look in GPPs.  My Week 6 sleeper is Le’Veon Bell, but he absolutely not cash viable.

For those playing tonight’s game on the Thursday-Monday slate, the Sony Michel/Patriots D stack feels like a good investment.

Bye teams:  Bills, Bears, Colts & Raiders

I’ll be back in a bit with the tight ends.
