TE Rankings Week 17

Welcome to the Week 17 Tight End Rankings!

As I’ve already mentioned several times, It’s been a wild week with our hosting company causing some uploading issues, but we are back online and good to go now.  Huge thanks again to our web developer, Jon Nixon, who was there when we needed him.  He saved the day as it wasn’t something I’d have ever fixed on my own.

I’d also like to thank the folks who’ve been kind enough to donate to the site.  It means a lot.  You have my sincere thanks.

There’s not much drama out there with the tight ends, which is sort of ironic as it’s been a tough position for a lot of fantasy footballers this year.  The Saints don’t have a legit option and most of the good TEs are in competitive situations.

The obvious play for DFS purposes is Travis Kelce, who has a sweet matchup and is in a big game that his team needs to win. Kelce can work as your TE or as a high-end flex play depending on how you view the tight ends.  The only downside I see is his 7,200 unit price tag.

The other options I am looking at are:

  • George Kittle
  • Zach Ertz
  • Chris Herndon
  • Jeremy Sprinkle
  • Gerald Everett

I may post a DFS pod tomorrow morning.  It depends on how well I get my board in order.  I’m not going to waste your time with any half-baked ideas.  Hopefully I get all my stuff done in time to work on my own lineups.

All Rotobahn rankings are based on .5 PPR scoring.
