TE Rankings Week 6 (updated Saturday)

Welcome to the Week 6 Tight End Rankings!

No big bye losses this week which is good since the TE position has been ravaged by injury all year.  Tonight’s game in New York will feature tight ends on only one team.  The Giants will be without Evan Engram and his backup Rhett Ellison.  Garrett Dickerson and Scott Simonson will be sharing time for the Giants at tight end, and no way should anybody be getting involved with that.  The good news is that Engram appears to be on track to play next week.  The other good news is that we expect Greg Olsen back this week or next week at the latest.

In DFS, I like Ertz if you are playing a Thursday slate.  My big cost-saving sleeper on the main slate is Jacksonville’s Niles Paul, who should take over most of the pass-catching duties from Austin Seferian-Jenkins, who is now on IR.  Jordan Reed is another guy I’m looking at due to all of the injuries at receiver in Washington.  Of course, one great potential play is paying up for Gronk or Kelce.  I haven’t done enough Week 6 lineup construction to know how much of those two I can afford.  I’ll definitely get into that on Saturday’s podcast.

I’ll update these rankings on Saturday.

Bye teams: Saints & Lions.
