WR Rankings Week 16 (Updated Sunday)

Welcome to the Week 16 Wide Receiver Rankings!  As I said with the QBs, congrats to all on making it this far!  The big game is a special thing we only get to enjoy when things break right.  Of course, enjoy is a hopeful word, because there is a misery factor associated with coming close but not closing the deal.

Let’s see if we can minimize those odds!

The receivers are deep but very weak up top, where we have some non-performace issues with guys like OBJ but more importantly, loads of injured players, like Godwin, Evans, Alshon and Ridley among others.  I know a lot of you good folks are in tough spots with tough decisions, so I’ll wake up and grind these some more on Saturday morning–in hopes of getting them as right as possible.

For DFS purposes, Julio stands above the pack in terms of projected performance versus cost.  DJ Moore could be a great play if Curtis Samuel is out.  I LOVE DeVante Parker in all type of contests.  Michael Gallup stands out as a value in GPPs.  Will Fuller is another great GPP option, as is Darius Slayton.

This article will be updated on Saturday and perhaps again on Sunday if anything breaks.

The RBs and TEs will go up later this afternoon or early evening.

Good luck to all this week!

I’ll be doing a podcast with Jimmy Hackett over at WEEI later today.  It’ll post late night or early Saturday morning.  We’ll get into the 3-game Saturday slate for DFS and we’ll talk some Week 16.

On Saturday, I’ll post my Starts article over at WEEI and there will be a podcast for the main slate too, though I’m still trying to figure out when I will have to time to record it.  Worst case scenario, it’ll go up early Sunday, but I am aiming for Saturday afternoon if I can swing it.
