Things Are Looking Up For Le’Veon
A few weeks back I wrote a piece about the Steelers’ backfield and wondered if it could really be as simple as ... Le’Veon Bell. It may be, if Ed Bouchette is correct in his article in today’s Gazette.
The basic summation is that Bell is the coming future and that the guy with the chance to hold him off in the near term is not Jon Dwyer, whom we prefer from a talent standpoint, but Isaac Redman. This makes sense given Dwyer's cap charge and Redman's history of performing well in a complimentary role.
If this is true, then it’s only a matter of time before we get loads and loads of Le’Veon. And, for those of you who’ve missed it, we like Le’Veon a whole lot. We thought he was underrated by scouts and he could end up being a monster paired with Big Ben. Bell is now a good training camp away from being a solid RB2 in 12-team redraft leagues. If I have the first pick in a dynasty draft and my need is tailback, Bell is my guy.
Let's take a look at Le'Veon....
