Welcome to the Week 10 Waiver Wire. As always, I will be adding new players throughout the day as I continue to work through the Week 9 game video. As I said in the early waiver wire, the big byes are over, but we still have four teams sitting out this week and we have plenty of injury situations to deal with and to work around. This is going to be a challenging week for a lot of fantasy GMs.

Week 10 byes: Jets, Patriots, Chiefs & Browns.

If you are looking for something else to sink you teeth into, check out my reviews of the following games from this weekend.  You might notice that the writing style is a bit different than normal.  That's because I was working with some new voice recognition software that allows me to watch video and "type" at the same time.  Yes, I am that bad of a typist.

QUARTERBACKS

Jay Cutler, Bears - Owned in 31% of Yahoo leagues.

He’s reportedly ahead of schedule with his groin injury and he’s a very good fantasy play when healthy because of all the weapons in the Chicago offense and because of the new offensive coaching staff led by Marc Trestman. Cutler has been dropped in a lot of leagues, so go get him if you can.  He's no lock to play this week, but he should be back soon.

Nick Foles, Eagles - Owned in 25% of Yahoo leagues.

The rest of his schedule is not particularly scary, so he is certainly worth adding in most leagues if you need help at quarterback. Chip Kelly’s offense certainly has some big-game potential because of the pace when things get going good. Traveling to Green Bay is a good test this weekend, but things get sweet again in Week 11 when the Eagles face the Redskins at home.

Carson Palmer, Cardinals - Owned in 28% of Yahoo leagues.

As I said last week, he’s a nice matchup play the rest of the way due to a solid schedule. He’s also got a healthy team around him at skill positions. He can help you if you have a need at QB.

Case Keenum, Texans - Owned in 10% of Yahoo leagues.

As I said last week, we liked what we saw in Keenum’s first outing and he really carried it over to his second start in Week 9 against the Colts. Keenum can throw the ball and he is certainly a viable option in plus matchups ... and he has a few of them remaining on his schedule. Not a bad guy to pick up in deep formats or if you are hurting at QB for some reason.

Jake Locker, Titans - Owned in 38% of Yahoo leagues.

I like him more in home matchups, but Locker can help you depending on what weeks you want to use him. The Titans are definitely on the upswing with an improving ground game and a weaker second half schedule.

E.J. Manuel, Bills - Owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues.

He has a good chance to return this week, and when you look at the success that Jeff Tuel was able to have in Sunday’s game, you have to be encouraged about Manuel’s chances. The Bills are getting healthier all around on offense with both Marquise Goodwin and C.J. Spiller making big plays in Week 9. Manuel can help you in deep formats.

RUNNING BACKS

Shane Vereen, Patriots - Owned in 46% of Yahoo leagues.

He should be owned in all leagues. Pick this guy up anywhere that he is available. Vereen has RB1 upside for the fantasy playoffs. I’ve said it all before. Just get this guy.

Chris Ivory, Jets - Owned in 45% of Yahoo leagues.

He’s been here for a few weeks now and you should consider picking him up even though he’ll be sitting out Week 10 on the bye. Ivory is finally healthy and he’s running well behind a solid line. How long will his health last? Who knows, but he can help you now.

Andre Brown, Giants - Owned in 36% of Yahoo leagues.

He’ll return this week and he could do a whole lot of fantasy damage though it may take a game or two for him to get his legs all the way back, since it was a leg injury. Brown is potentially the savior of the Giants’ backfield and we are weeks away from seeing David Wilson, if we see him at all.

Donald Brown, Colts - Owned in 12% of Yahoo leagues.

He continues to thoroughly outplay starter Trent Richardson, and I just don’t see how they can take any touches away from him the way that he’s been playing. Brown is playing perhaps the best ball of his career, showing good vision and burst. Brown is a must add for Richardson owners in big leagues. Brown also has stand-alone flex value in larger formats.

Shonn Greene, Titans - Owned in 16% of Yahoo leagues.

He looked a lot better in Week 9 and, as I’ve said repeatedly, we like their second half schedule. Green is a player to add in all 12-team leagues and he’s a mandatory handcuff for those who own Chris Johnson.

Montee Ball, Broncos - Owned in 36% of Yahoo leagues.

He’s jumped ahead of Ronnie Hillman and is now the main backup to Knowshon Moreno. When you consider how good this offense is and how injury-prone Moreno has proven to be, you have to like Ball’s chances at having significant fantasy value at some point. At minimum, he is a mandatory handcuff for those counting on Moreno as a RB1 or RB2. Ball is a back to add in all 12-team leagues.

Rashad Jennings, Raiders - Owned in 8% of Yahoo leagues.

Starter Darren McFadden is hurt again. It’s a hamstring this time and his Week 10 status is certainly in doubt. Adding Jennings is a way for McFadden owners to protect themselves.   For those who don't own McFadden, Jennings could make a nice one-week add if you are hurting at RB for Week 10. McFadden may return, but it’s not like he has a history of healing quickly.  Betting against him has merit.

James Starks, Packers - Owned in 22% of Yahoo leagues.

As I said last week, Starks was a favorite of ours back in 2010 and he's probably playing his best football since that time right now.  Starks is back from his knee injury and has looked to be playing at 100% the last few weeks. He is also clearly ahead of rookie Johnathan Franklin for the #2 role behind Eddie Lacy, who is looking very good as the lead back. If you can only handcuff one back behind Lacy, Starks looks like the guy.

Dennis Johnson, Texans - Owned in 0% of Yahoo leagues.

He’s a back that we liked when we watched his game film and he is close to some playing time depending on how things play out with the injuries to Arian Foster and Ben Tate. If Johnson gets in there, he could post very nice fantasy stats. He is definitely a player to own in big formats and a lot of 12-team formats.

Denard Robinson, Jaguars - Owned in 0% of Yahoo leagues.

He’s a favorite of ours and he may start getting more touches in the coming weeks.  Robinson's worth an add in large formats, but is not a guy you can play just yet  If MJD gets dinged up, Robinson could have some legit value.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Aaron Dobson, Patriots - Owned in 36% of Yahoo leagues.

You’ll have to forgive me for beating Rotobahn’s chest a bit on this one. We’ve been on the Dobson bandwagon even longer than the Patriots. As long as he continues to get the bulk of the snaps at split end, he is going to be a WR3 in all formats. He needs to be owned in all leagues.

Michael Floyd, Cardinals - Owned in 65% of Yahoo leagues.

He got dropped in some leagues because of his bye week.  I'd grab him if he's there for te taking.  He can be a WR2 the rest of the way if things break right.

Marvin Jones, Bengals - Owned in 71% of Yahoo leagues.

He's available in almost 30% of leagues, so he's worth a mention one last time.  Jones has huge upside and has to be owned in 12-team leagues and most 10-team leagues too.

Kenny Stills, Saints - Owned in 49% of Yahoo leagues.

We still like him a lot in 12-team leagues and he has upside to get even better.

Kendall Wright, Titans - Owned in 51% of Yahoo leagues.

Wright is playing well and looking healthy.  He can be a WR3 in most formats, especially PPR formats.  He's past his bye week.

Lance Moore, Saints - Owned in 47% of Yahoo leagues.

You could see it in last week’s Jets game. Moore is Drew Brees’ most trusted target and he’s looking like he is all the way back from his early-season hand injury. Moore is worth an add in all formats, but especially larger PPR leagues.

Emmanuel Sanders, Steelers - Owned in 60% of Yahoo leagues.

He's available in a great many leagues (40%) and he's been producing solid numbers lately.

DeAndre Hopkins, Texans - Owned in 50% of Yahoo leagues.

He still has a lot of upside and Keenum has given the Texans some swagger in the passing game.  I'd roster Hopkins if I had the space in most league sizes.

Riley Cooper, Eagles - Owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues.

He’s been gaining steam and he seems to really get things going when Nick Foles is the QB, which he should be going forward. Cooper is a player to own in all 12-team leagues. He’s off the Rotobahn Watch List and into must-own territory.

Mike Brown, Jaguars - Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues.

This was an obvious one the second that Justin Blackmon’s suspension came down. Brown has looked good the last few weeks and he should be the most active receiver in Jacksonville after Cecil Shorts. He’s a solid add in 12-team formats.

Marlon Brown, Ravens - Owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues.

He found the zone twice and saw more targets then he's had in any game this year.  If they are going to use him that much, he is going to be fantasy worthy because he can play.  Add him in 12-team leagues.

Doug Baldwin, Seahawks - Owned in 12% of Yahoo leagues.

He’s going to be a bigger factor until Percy Harvin gets involved in the offense and that may not be for another week or so at this point. It’s certainly possible that Seattle waits until after their Week 12 bye. Baldwin can help you in 12-team leagues right now.

Santonio Holmes, Jets - Owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues.

He's going to return after the Jets' Week 10 bye and he'll be the number one option in their passing game for as long as he can stay healthy.  He's a good add right now if you want some quality depth for the stretch run.

Cordarrelle Patterson, Vikings - 12% of Yahoo leagues.

They have been getting more involved the last few games and I expect that to continue the rest of the way.  The Vikings lost TE Kyle Rudolph for the next 4-6 weeks and that could open up some opportunity for Patterson in the red zone.  Cordarrelle is a great stash option in large leagues if you have a roster spot to play with.  Check out my original scouting report on Patterson.

Mario Manningham, 49ers - Owned in 4% of Yahoo leagues

He’s finally back from his ACL injury and he could become a factor for the 49ers in the coming weeks. He’s a player to add in leagues with 12 or more teams. We won’t know just how much he’ll contribute until we see him out there, but he’s worth a speculative add in case he can play the kind of football he played before the injury.

LaVon Brazill, Colts - Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues

This is a potentially savvy low-risk stash in deeper formats. Brazill has a chance to become a weapon over the second half. He’s worth a spot at the end of rosters in leagues with 14 teams and perhaps even in some deeper 12-team leagues.

TIGHT ENDS

Coby Fleener, Colts - Owned in 5-% of Yahoo leagues.

He is starting to gain a measure of consistency, and they are looking for places to throw the football in Indianapolis. As I have mentioned repeatedly, Fleener was a college teammate of Colts starting QB Andrew Luck, so there is a built-in measure of trust between the two. I have a feeling that this connection heats up down the stretch if Fleener can stay heathy.

Tim Wright, Buccaneers - Owned in12% of Yahoo leagues.

The rookie did it again and he did it against a tough Seattle defense. At this point, Wright seems pretty dependable and it’s not like Tampa has a lot of other places to throw the football outside of Vincent Jackson. Wright is a player to own in all 12-team leagues.

Zach Ertz, Eagles - Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues.

He saw a season high in targets (six) and he had his best day as a pro with six receptions for 42 yards and a score. Ertz is very talented and he is a great fit for Chip Kelly’s scheme. He’s a player to add in 12-team leagues and up.

Charles Clay, Dolphins - Owned in 67% of Yahoo leagues.

He's been called a safety valve in the Dolphins' offense, and when you look at th sad state of the Miami OL, you HAVE to think that they'll be using the safety valve a whole lot more going forward.

Garrett Graham, Texans - Owned in 21% of Yahoo leagues.

He can help you in deeper formats and his output could increase as he gets more comfortable with case Keenum at QB.

Dennis Pitta, Ravens - Owned in 2% of Yahoo leagues.

There's no way to tell exactly when he'll return, but with all the injuries at the position, he could be a player to add in deeper leagues with the hope he may return in a few weeks.  He's a TE1 if he comes back healthy and he makes a worthy stash if you can spare the bench space..

DEFENSE

Indianapolis Colts - Owned in 55% of Yahoo leagues.

The Colts get to play the Kellen Clemens-led rams in Week 10 and they get him in their building. Count me in.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Owned in 24% of Yahoo leagues.

The Bucs will face off against the Dolphins this week and they play them in Tampa.  The Bucs are a solid defense looking for a team that can beat.  Enter the Dolphins and their decimated offensive line and predictable offense.  The Bucs are a quality plug-n-play option this week.

New York Jets - Owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues.

They are on their bye week, but they are playing pretty well and they are getting to the quarterback more frequently the last few weeks.  The Jets also play a favorable schedule the rest of the way with few scary matchups.  They can play for you on most weeks.

Arizona Cardinals - Owned in 57% of Yahoo leagues.

They get an inexperienced QB in Week 10 and they get him in their building. As much as I like what I’ve seen from Case Keenum, the Cardinals undoubtedly smells opportunity.  Fantasy owners should too.
