Welcome to the Week 10 Tight End Rankings.  It's not an easy week for the position, as we have both Rob Gronkowski and Jordan Cameron out on their bye week.  It's a sucker punch for Gronk owners, who are just getting accustomed to having the big monster in the lineup.  I’ll be back a bit later on with the backs and receivers.

As always, I will update these rankings over the weekend to reflect changing information and practice reports.  We’ve been busy this week, so check my updated Watch List and Trade Targets articles, and look for our weekly podcast tomorrow with my buddy Jim Hackett.  Here's a link to the podcast.

Bye Weeks:  Patriots, Jets, Chiefs & Browns.

Jimmy Graham NO DAL He’s getting healthier and he’s been damn good when injured.
Antonio Gates SD DEN Good player and a good matchup.
Jason Witten DAL @NO He came to life in Week 9 and this is a solid matchup. Romo will need Witten the the noisy conditions in Big Easy.
Vernon Davis SF CAR He’ll be the #1 option in this game along with Kaepernick’s legs.
Tony Gonzalez ATL SEA Tough matchup, but getting Roddy back will make it harder for teams to double him.
Julius Thomas DEN @SD Tough matchup (SD handles TEs well) and he’s been slowed by a sore ankle, but he’s still a TE1 all the way.
Martellus Bennett CHI DET He’s a weekly starter and he did well against them earlier this year. He’s a TE all the way.
Tim Wright TB MIA Wright has been very active and there’s no reason to jump off the bandwagon now.
Coby Fleener IND STL They are using him consistently now and he’s got TE1 value this week with Gronk and Cameron on the bye.
Greg Olsen CAR @SF He’s giving you solid numbers on most weeks, but this is a tough matchup.
Garrett Graham HOU @ARI He could be an active outlet this week if Case Keenum looks for him. The Cards matchup against the Texans’ receivers better than they do with Graham.
Tyler Eifert CIN @BAL Eiftert has been playing better and he’ll get a bump in targets this week with Gresham likely out. He’s a fringe TE1 if that holds up. Gresham has played 93% of his team’s offensive snaps in 2013. His absence leaves a lot of playing time for others. Eiftert’s snaps should go from about 65% to about 95% with Gresham out.
Charles Clay MIA @TB He’ll be active and they use him very creatively.
Heath Miller PIT BUF He’s more than solid than good and the outside receivers have scored most of the touchdowns. He’s a decent option in bigger leagues.
Brandon Pettigrew DET @CHI I like Pettigrew this week.
Scott Chandler BUF @PIT The Steelers are playing uncharacteristically bad defense right now. Chandler is a viable option.
Zach Ertz PHI @GB He’s a player we like and he is coming off his best game as a pro. He’s a decent option if you are hurting this week.
Jared Cook STL @IND Lance Kendricks has a broken finger, and that could lead to more looks for Cook, who has been active with Kellen Clemens at the helm.
Zach Miller SEA @ATL Has a chance to score and looked pretty good last week.
Delanie Walker TEN JAC He’s playable this week in a very nice matchup.
Brent Celek PHI @GB Scored last week, but this won’t be a TD-fest.
Andrew Quarless GB PHI Was a very ordinary player with Rodgers at QB.
Dallas Clark BAL CIN He does get looks, but he’s very inconsistent.
Marcedes Lewis JAC @TEN Has looked awful, but may see more action with Blackmon out.
Rob Housler ARI HOU Could make some plays this week.
Mychal Rivera OAK @NYG Coming off of his best week in a while, he does get a decent matchup at the NYG.
Joseph Fauria DET @CHI Plenty of upside but he’s been less involved lately. He’s a very intriguing player in long term formats.
Brandon Myers NYG OAK He’s a viable play in very deep leagues.
Benjamin Watson NO DAL Not worth much if Jimmy Graham is healthy. Worth plenty if Graham goes down.
Ed Dickson BAL CIN Hard to describe how shockingly weak Dickson has been in 2013.
Vance McDonald SF CAR Still playing plenty of snaps, but not yet involved enough as a receiver.
Luke Willson SEA @ATL A nice talent, but he is behind Miller.
Jermaine Gresham CIN @BAL He seems likely to miss this week’s game with a groin injury he seemingly suffered in practice this week. I’ll update this situation in case anything changes. He’s risky even if he does suit up.
Jordan Reed WAS @MIN (ALREADY PLAYED ... originally ranked 6th) He’s active every week and should make some plays here.
John Carlson MIN WSH (ALREADY PLAYED ... originally ranked 29th)
