Welcome to the Week 4 Tight End Rankings.

Jordan Reed is banged up again. Tyler Eiftert is out again. Greg Olsen is long gone. It’s tough out there right now unless you own Gronk, Kelce or Zach Ertz. There are plenty of viable options out there, but there's a definite shortage of guys you can really count on. That’s why guys like Charles Clay, while he’s healthy, are on the rise—you get some stability.

Tonight’s tight ends, Martellus Bennett and Zach Miller, are both playable in 12-team leagues.

I’ll update these rankings on Saturday.

These rankings are based on .5 PPR scoring.

Rob Gronkowski NE 6600 CAR@NE 01:00PM ET 18.267 He’s in the zone right now.
Travis Kelce KC 6000 WAS@KC 08:30PM ET 12.6 Like him in this matchup.
Zach Ertz PHI 6300 PHI@LAC 04:05PM ET 16.833 Getting consistent targets and scored last week.
Delanie Walker TEN 4900 TEN@HOU 01:00PM ET 12.633 Full practice. The hamstring is fine.
Jimmy Graham SEA 4900 IND@SEA 08:30PM ET 6.367 Looked healthy last week and Baldwin is dinged up so maybe more targets this week.
Kyle Rudolph MIN 4100 DET@MIN 01:00PM ET 7.167 Good matchup.
Evan Engram NYG 3000 NYG@TB 04:05PM ET 10.933 Looking very good and could really bust out at some point soon as OBJ draws extra coverage.
Jordan Reed WAS 5400 WAS@KC 08:30PM ET 9.7 Keep tabs on his practice reports and roster Vernon Davis in deep leagues because he’s a TE1 when Reed sits. This is a Monday game, so you either MUST get Vernon Davis or you may want to use your best Sunday option. Reed feels like he’s got about a 75% to play.
Charles Clay BUF 3700 BUF@ATL 01:00PM ET 12.167 Getting steady targets and red zone targets too.
Jason Witten DAL 5000 LAR@DAL 01:00PM ET 15.3 Not a guy I believe in at this stage but he’s been somewhat productive early. Nothing last week.
Jared Cook OAK 3400 OAK@DEN 04:25PM ET 10.467 Was active last week and scored, and he will see the ball against as Denver funnels the passing game inside to the TEs, due to their great CB play.
Ryan Griffin HOU 3500 TEN@HOU 01:00PM ET 8.55 Worth a look if you have a need. He's going to see some targets.
Hunter Henry LAC 3500 PHI@LAC 04:05PM ET 5 So tough to trust but will have big games and I expect that he will be more and more playable as the season wears on.
Julius Thomas MIA 2900 NO@MIA 09:30AM ET 5.1 Sweet matchup but he’s been light through two games.
Eric Ebron DET 3100 DET@MIN 01:00PM ET 7 Tough matchup here.
Jack Doyle IND 3400 IND@SEA 08:30PM ET 8.2 He’s viable but it’s nasty matchup.
Austin Seferian-Jenkins NYJ 3000 JAX@NYJ 01:00PM ET 8.1 Should see targets this week with the outside weapons being shut down by the Jags' tough corners.
Cameron Brate TB 3800 NYG@TB 04:05PM ET 8.85 Scored last week but this is a tough matchup.
Vernon Davis WAS 3700 WAS@KC 08:30PM ET 6.367 Will be upgraded if Reed sits.
Coby Fleener NO 3400 NO@MIA 09:30AM ET 10.6 Not sexy but he’ll see the ball enough to be viable.
David Njoku CLE 2900 CIN@CLE 01:00PM ET 8.3 Making big plays but not yet getting volume in terms of targets and played fewer snaps than DeValve last week.
Austin Hooper ATL 3300 BUF@ATL 01:00PM ET 9.467 Not getting the target love I thought he would. Backing off until he picks it up. He's viable but risky.
O.J. Howard TB 2700 NYG@TB 04:05PM ET 2.45
Antonio Gates LAC 2900 PHI@LAC 04:05PM ET 5.933

A.J. Derby DEN 2500 OAK@DEN 04:25PM ET 2.633
Nick Boyle BAL 2500 PIT@BAL 01:00PM ET 2.567 Watson and Williams both banged up so he could have a role this week.
Tyler Kroft CIN 2600 CIN@CLE 01:00PM ET 2.433
Jonnu Smith TEN 2600 TEN@HOU 01:00PM ET 6.8

Clive Walford OAK 2500 OAK@DEN 04:25PM ET 0.867
Tyler Eifert CIN 3900 CIN@CLE 01:00PM ET 4.3 OUT
Benjamin Watson BAL 3600 PIT@BAL 01:00PM ET 9.1 No practice (calf) Will rank him if he practices at all on Friday.
Martellus Bennett GB 3700 ALREADY PLAYED 7.067 Should be active here.
Zach Miller CHI 2800 ALREADY PLAYED 6.933 Will see steady targets. Chicago is desperate for weapons in the passing game. That said, Glennon has been shaky.

Richard Rodgers GB 2700 ALREADY PLAYED 1.4
Dion Sims CHI 2500 ALREADY PLAYED 1.7
