Waiver Wire 10/9
Go Green!
Welcome to the waiver wire. We’ve got plenty of quality options today but the big pickup in my view is going to be Green Bay’s Alex Green. For those of you who have been reading us since last year, you know we love this kid. Check out this article that I wrote last year before Green’s season-ending injury. The kid has enormous potential. Hopefully those of you who owned Cedric Benson listened to us in August when we told you use Green as a handcuff.
Below are the players we are targeting this week. I won't be posting rankings today due to time constraints, but you can check out our weekly waiver wire article at WEEI for more info on our targeted options. We've been busy updating our format the last few days and I will now be blogging key info when I can. I needed a format for things bigger than a tweet but smaller than an article. Hopefully the blog will fit the bill. It will also offer registered users a way to participate and to offer feedback.
If anybody has any questions about their pickups tonight, feel free to drop me a question in the forums. I'll be checking right up until about 10pm Eastern time.
