Welcome to the waiver wire for week seventeen.  Obviously, most of us are done at this point, but just in case any of you are engaged in meaningful fantasy activity this week, we wanted to give you some pick up ideas.

I’ll be checking the forums for questions, so feel free to send them along if you have any big decisions and want a second opinion.

Be sure to check back with us next week as we will be posting our postseason rankings and strategy articles. If you play in a playoff-based league, this will be valuable material and will make your draft prep turn-key. We’ll have downloadable cheat sheets just like we did last year.

Kyle Orton, QB, Chiefs

He’s settling in and he he is a good option in week 17 if you are looking. The Broncs have issues on the back end and Orton knows them exceedingly well. We like it.

Toby Gerhart, RB, Vikings

Here’s the really obvious one, but he is a legit RB2 option in week 17 and he might be sitting there for the taking, so snatch him up even if it’s just to keep him away from your opponent.

Kahlil Bell, RB, Bears

Obviously, that stats are there and now that Forte is on IR, you know he’ll be featured to some degree in week 17. He’s a solid pickup.

Evan Royster, RB, Redskins

He’s not the diverse talent that Roy Helu is, but he showed that he can posts stats when given the chance. As we said last week, he’s the guy to own if Helu is out.

Stevan Ridley, RB, Patriots

He’s now getting the big share and that could translate to a big week 17.

Denarius Moore, WR, Raiders

He’s healthy again and we like his matchup, so he makes a very nice WR3 option in most formats.

Damian Williams, WR, Titans

Largely available and now becoming consistent. He is a nice flex or even WR3 option if you need a guy.

Jared Cook, TE, Titans

He’s finally caught on and we like him as an option this week. You can get him in a lot of leagues and he has obvious upside.

Jaguars Defense

The Colts might just find some creative ways to assure defeat in week 17. If you are in a bind, this might be a place to look for points.
