Wide Receiver Rankings Week 10
Welcome to the week ten wide receiver rankings. It's a rough week for quarterbacks and receivers. The quarterbacks are already ranked, so check that out. Austin Collie and Steve Smith are out with injuries and in Indy, Blair White is banged up too. The bye weeks also cut pretty deep as you can see on the list below.
Week 10 WR Byes
- Donald Driver
- Patrick Crayton
- Devery Henderson
- Malcom Floyd
- Greg Jennings
- Marques Colston
- Lance Moore
- Robert Meachem
- James Jones
- Legedu Naanee
- Jordy Nelson
- Darrius Heyward-Bey
- Louis Murphy
- Jacoby Ford
- Seyi Ajirotutu
That's an awful lot of quality talent. Let's take a look at how we can pick up the pieces.

THE SKINNY
1
Andre Johnson
HOU
at
JAC
Love the matchup.
2
Hakeem Nicks
NYG
vs
DAL
He plays well against them and he’s playing well in general.
3
Terrell Owens
CIN
at
IND
He’s the hottest WR in football, so he’s a must start right now.
4
Calvin Johnson
DET
at
BUF
He’s a beast and even though Stafford is out, he has a solid rapport with Hill, so he’ll post great numbers as always.
5
Reggie Wayne
IND
vs
CIN
You gotta play him every week no matter what, but we like this matchup.
6
Anquan Boldin
BAL
at
ATL
**Already Played**
7
Roddy White
ATL
vs
BAL
**Already Played**
8
Larry Fitzgerald
ARI
vs
SEA
Not a scary matchup. Derek Anderson seems to be playing ok and Fitz is starting to come on.
9
DeSean Jackson
PHI
at
WAS
Jackson and Vick are a simply brutal matchup for safeties and defensive coordinators. Jackson looked great last week and he should make some plays in week ten.
10
Randy Moss
TEN
at
MIA
Yeah, it’s a bit of a reach, but Randy keeps the game pretty simple and he’s a good fit for what they do in Tennessee. We think he’ll hit the ground running.
11
Mike Williams
TB
vs
CAR
This kid plays like he’s been in the league for years. We like him to do more versus Carolina than in his first meeting. Their corners are good, but this guy makes plays against everybody not names Revis.
12
Brandon Marshall
MIA
vs
TEN
People think that Pennington will hurt, but we think he’s as capable as Henne in terms of getting the ball to him. Marshall is plenty dangerous in a controlled passing game.
13
Brandon Lloyd
DEN
vs
KC
How can we give up on him now? He’s been astoundingly good and he’s avoided injury for the first time in years. A feel good story for sure and a WR1 in week ten.
14
Mike Wallace
PIT
vs
NE
Wallace can get deep against the Pats’ corners.
15
Jeremy Maclin
PHI
at
WAS
He’s been great at times and solid most others. He’ll get his this week.
16
Steve Johnson
BUF
vs
DET
Like we said last week, we’ll bump him down if and when he slows down.
17
Mike Sims-Walker
JAC
vs
HOU
He’s playing well though he’s a bit under the radar. A solid WR2 in week ten.
18
Percy Harvin
MIN
at
CHI
Check status. Migraines have cropped up again for Percy, but he usually plays through them and often thrives. With Harvin it’s simple, you play him if he plays.
19
Hines Ward
PIT
vs
NE
He’s as solid a WR2 as you will find and he should find his way into the end zone against New England.
20
Braylon Edwards
NYJ
at
CLE
The big guy is playing well and has a big chip on his shoulder in this game. He wants to go off and will be maxed out. We like his chances of making a few plays with a big one mixed in somewhere.
21
Dez Bryant
DAL
at
NYG
He’s coming on lately but this is not a great matchup.
22
Miles Austin
DAL
at
NYG
Has struggled a bit without Romo, but that should change as Kitna gets more comfortable. They need to get him more involved. He’s a top ten talent, but a WR2 this week.
23
Mario Manningham
NYG
vs
DAL
He should see plenty of targets with Steve Smith out and he’ll see #2 corners thanks to Nicks.
24
Pierre Garcon
IND
vs
CIN
We like him to bounce back strong. Manning needs to establish Garcon as he is the most athletic player on that offense.
25
Lee Evans
BUF
vs
DET
He’s a big play guy who will see an increase in targets with Roscoe Parrish gone for the year.
26
Santonio Holmes
NYJ
at
CLE
Creeping up on being dependable. One more good week and he’ll be looking like a WR2, but Mark Sanchez’ development is still up and down.
27
Nate Burleson
DET
at
BUF
An average matchup but he’s been coming on strong, so worth a play as a WR3 or flex.
28
Santana Moss
WAS
vs
PHI
He was awful against them earlier in the year, but that was largely due to the coverage which could change. Santana is a WR3 this week.
29
Michael Williams
SEA
at
ARI
Check status. That said, he lit them up once already and Hasselbeck is back.
30
Johnny Knox
CHI
vs
MIN
We like Knox this week. The Minny pass rush has been light and that gets him in the game.
31
Derrick Mason
BAL
at
ATL
**Already Played**
32
Jabar Gaffney
DEN
vs
KC
He scorched them earlier in the year, so he’s worth a play as a WR3.
33
Wes Welker
NE
at
PIT
They will need to chuck it and we expect Welker to hang in there as a WR3.
34
Dwayne Bowe
KC
at
DEN
Champ Bailey is a problem.
35
Davone Bess
MIA
vs
TEN
Pennington and Bess have hooked up plenty of times in the past and there should be a seamless transition here. We expect him to keep producing.
36
Steve Breaston
ARI
vs
SEA
He’s up and down, but this week should give him some solid opportunity.
37
Michael Crabtree
SF
vs
STL
The new QB is no problem, but the Rams’ D is a tough matchup. Crabtree is still a guy with a bright future, but he needs his team to get the QB spot taken care of.
38
Jacoby Jones
HOU
at
JAC
He’s healthy now and it’s a nice matchup. He’s a quality flex.
39
Steve Smith
CAR
at
TB
Not an easy matchup and his chemistry with Clausen is still in the developmental stage. Still, if things click, Smith is very capable of a big game.
40
Chad Ochocinco
CIN
at
IND
Right now, he is brutal, but he can break out at any time.
41
Mike Thomas
JAC
vs
HOU
He’s active every week and he’s good filler if your WR3 is on the bye.
42
Nate Washington
TEN
at
MIA
Needs to make a big play, so there is risk, but he’s worth a flier.
43
Danny Amendola
STL
at
SF
He’s always involved and can be a nice stop-gap guy.
44
Anthony Armstrong
WAS
vs
PHI
He’s active every week and will be a big factor if they try to double Moss all day.
45
Eddie Royal
DEN
vs
KC
Should start working his way back in now. He’s been quiet since getting banged up in week six.
46
Earl Bennett
CHI
vs
MIN
Has been more involved and gotten some praise from Martz. Worth a flier.
47
Brandon Tate
NE
at
PIT
Plenty of upside as they target him deep, but he’s also inconsistent.
48
Brandon Gibson
STL
at
SF
He’s on the field and could make some plays. Not a bad reach flex.
49
Deion Branch
NE
at
PIT
More of a PPR option right now, but when he gets totally healthy, he should be more effective. Just a fill in guy right now.
50
Bernard Berrian
MIN
at
CHI
Just a flier, but his value spikes a bit if Harvin and or Rice is out, so check the status of both.
51
Jordan Shipley
CIN
at
IND
He’s a threat to do something every week as he’s involved.
52
Brian Hartline
MIA
vs
TEN
We don’t see Pennington helping Hartline much, but we’ll see.
53
Roy E. Williams
DAL
at
NYG
Kitna has not been finding him, but he could bust out at any time. That said, this may be a game where no Cowboys WR busts out at all.
54
Devin Hester
CHI
vs
MIN
Slipping and being used more on specials, but we still love his big play ability.
55
Mohamed Massaquoi
CLE
vs
NYJ
Brutal matchup, but we like him to play better going forward.
56
Laurent Robinson
STL
at
SF
He’s a good bet to pick up steam now that he’s healthy. He’s just a flier right now, but he could start producing soon.
57
Kevin Walter
HOU
at
JAC
Somebody call missing persons. This guy must have checked into the Witness Protection network or something. Still, he’s done well against them in the past if you are desperate
58
Jason Avant
PHI
at
WAS
Not involved enough with D-Jax back.
59
Jerricho Cotchery
NYJ
at
CLE
He’s slowly losing snaps and targets. Just a WR5.
60
Sidney Rice
MIN
at
CHI
A deep reach with some upside but probably better left on the bench for one more week.
61
Blair White
IND
vs
CIN
Check status as he is banged up. He’s a decent flier if he plays.
62
Arrelious Benn
TB
vs
CAR
He’s been more involved and is starting to make plays. Worth a deep flier.
63
Demaryius Thomas
DEN
vs
KC
We love his talent, but he’s been less involved. Worth a flier and we like his role to expand as we move ahead.
64
Brandon LaFell
CAR
at
TB
He’s been sporadic but more productive of late. He’s a nice talent and worthy of a roster spot in keeper & dynasty leagues. Just a reach this week.
65
Ramses Barden
NYG
vs
DAL
Might be worth a shot this week as Steve Smith will sit out, but you better be desperate if you start him.
